Steam Beta + Proton Experimental a MUST. Had more success with this setup vs. any GE proton builds and settings.
Graphics:Missing Textures
This has happened only once but various ground textures were not rendering after a race. Fixed its self after another race.
Windowing:Other
Alt+Tab generally caused a softlock in the game. Would randomly work without issue.
Performance:Slight Performance Problems
Random hiccups, generally last less than 1s.
Instability:Occasionally
Soft locking as much as every half hour and as little as not at all.

Overall (online):Excellent
The following launch options helped stability for me: MANGOHUD=1 MANGOHUD_CONFIG=vsync=3,fps_limit=60 %command%
