Crysis® 3
Works great in every aspect - but only with a controller (vanilla Proton 5.0-9).
Input:Inaccuracy, Lag
Works great with controller only. Mouse & keyboard are super laggy & rubber-band city.

Metro Exodus
Works Flawlessly Out of the Box
Is perfect with no tweaks or specified Proton versions: Gameplay, menu, m/kb, audio, options all fine. Getting rock-stable 90+ FPS w/very high settings in 1440p (haven't tried 4K or 1080p yet). Played about 4 hrs. at this point.

Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo
Use Proton 4.11-13 (or maybe earlier). Right-click on demo's icon -> Properties -> General tab -> Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility -> Proton 4.11-13. Maybe earlier versions work too (didn't try). Perfect, play, audio, menu, gameplay with very high settings, 1440p & 1080p (didn't try 4K).
