Forced windows 7 compatability
By default doesn't work. Need to force windows 7 through winetricks. Various versions of proton after will work, cutscenes work on experimental but with no audio, switching to Proton 8.0-5 keeps cutscene and audio, game works well ~40fps
Performance issues, turn off vsync
Every title runs slower than original clock speed. Noticably slower with the audio glitching the entire time.
UPDATE: went into deck performance settings and at the bottom hit reset to default, fixed all slowdown issues. No individual setting changed in the performance tab so idk why it fixed it but it did. If anyone was facing similar slowdown issues like myself give that a try.
This isn't ideal, the port is not optimized at all. With all the recommended fixes, it is in a playable state.
Download REframework, the "turn off wind sim" mod, and the config called "the little toaster that shouldn't". There needs to be a few lines launch options, find them in the discussion pages along with the mods. May need to adjust the config file as well slightly depending on OLED. May need to adjust settings (turn off vsync, turn on frame gen)
