Sound crackles or staticy. Otherwise, the game works fine. Wonder if FAudio will fix or if there's another setting I need to do.
Works up until Product Activation, which renders as a small black rectangle. Verified that this is the Product Activation by checking the Window Title, done by hovering over the icon in the taskbar.
Error Message: 'Uplay has detected an unrecoverable error and must shutdown. Crash dump created at "C:/Program Files (x86)/Ubisoft/Ubisoft Game Launcher/crashes"' The crash log in that folder is a .dmp file and couldn't find a Windows program to read it.
This is a Linux Native build of the game, but the game doesn't support Linux in the Steam Store. It never will support Linux as the developers have abandoned the game.
Error Message: An error occured while updating Clockwork Empires (missing executable): ../Steam/steamapps/common/Clockwork Empires/Clockwork Empires.exe
Title Screen and Game run at 1-2 avg fps. Hit 6-7 avg fps by lowering resolution.
Runs perfect until the window is maximized or the game is put into fullscreen. Then the mouse cursor is off position by roughly the height of my taskbar. This is fixed by enabling a virtual desktop via: WINEARCH=win64 WINEPREFIX='/your/path/to/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/590380/pfx' winecfg
Cinematics playback fine. All of the backgrounds appear to be using an inverted color palete. Text is too small and unreadable. Able to change video options in game to max resolution and ultra quality makes the text readable, but it's using an improper font. Trying to play the game, results in a CRASH!: "Unable to retrieve your 'Documents' folder in order to save a crash dump."
Game won't launch, get an error message: CPAL3D - Error: "Cannot initialize windows media video playback. Please, reinstall the game."
Required tinkering to get working. Yet after testing all versions of proton, only one ran the game and I was unable to get it working.

Left clicking on an mob after starting the game caused a crash to desktop giving that
[ERROR] FATAL UNHANDLED EXCEPTION: System.InvalidOperationException: Collection was modified; enumeration operation may not execute.
More info about what that error means. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/604831/collection-was-modified-enumeration-operation-may-not-execute#answer-26864676
Frequent crashes when playing as intended.

When tabbing in & out of the game at the main menu, it would render blocks of the main menu in random order shortly before crashing.
When clicking an entity the game would crash if you do not install net40 & xna40
Any linux native saves are not used in the windows version & vice-versa.
Every 30-60 minutes the game would crash.
Tested: Proton-6.8-GE-2, Proton 4.2-9, Proton 4.11-13 and none provide a stable enjoyable playthrough
