On latest Proton game works better but only detect Dualshock 4/DualSense.

Recognizes Gamepad Defaults with 4.11-13 (keyboard only with default)

Tinker Steps:Switch to older version: 4.11-13

Doesn't recognize gamepad with default Deck Proton version. Tried 4.11-13 in the Compatibility menu based on other comments here. And it recognized the gamepad correctly and plays great on Deck.

Video settings defaults to high in the game menus but runs better on medium. 40hz on Deck seems to handle full races with a full grid great. Can up to 60hz on time trials. I'm sure there's more performance to be found.

There doesn't seem to be an easy way to configure the deck controls with either official preset, or any of the (working on pc) community ones. With more tweaking can probably get it working but it was too much effort for me. Seems to run fine though on deck so could probably be made to work.
