Completely flawless OOTB
Didn't encounter any issues, performance is fine too (though not a very demanding game).
Playing from PC should encounter no problems, Steam Deck users should be fine with touchscreen controls
Seems that initiating a dialog with character zooms in camera a bit. At first, I didn't understood that you can switch between characters' statements from screen with audio, and in the middle of second case camera was so close it was uncomfortable to navigate the location. And you have no way to zoom out, other than save and restart, without mouse
Good but kinda overpriced game if you love detectives. Worth taking when on sale.
Game Played After Client-Specific Troubleshooting
I previously submitted a borked report for this game while troubleshooting a failure to start this game. I was able to remedy it via restarting the computer, albeit despite having already followed along to basic troubleshooting procedures, I don't know the root cause of my games running laggy under certain circumstances.
Nevertheless, in implementing that remedy that has me playing games shortly after logging in to the computer, I was able to load this game successfully using Proton 8.0-3 and play the game to completion without issue.
Unable to launch the game
I was unable to launch the game using the latest Proton @ 8.0-3 or Experimental at the time, and I wasn't able either to use older versions of Proton per reports here to load the game.
On each of five different Proton versions from 5.0-x to current, the game would launch, a small beige loading window would appear, and then the game would crash and stop.
I appear up-to-date on GPU drivers, and WineHQ as of this post appears to have nothing on the game with respect to workarounds, and I'm not savvy enough to figure this out on my own.
I was looking forward to playing this game... Oh well.
Works as expected, including windowed mode
There was slight stuttering in 3d animations on medium, high, and ultra settings. Overall not an issue for this particular game
The game takes a minute or so to start up although it isn't clear if that's normal
