Played on Steam Deck OLED. Installed wmp11, qasf, and quartz via protontricks and disabled proton media converter to allow opening videos to play properly.

This pop up appears when I launch this game: Invalid character 'î'
You can save the game at any time, so even if the voice is broken after sleep you can save and restart.
A button mapped to left mouse button, so I could forward text with that, B to right mouse button (which is cancel) I also setup shortcuts to quick save(F2), tips(T) window, repeat voice(F9) etc.
You can safely limit TDP to 3W and GPU clock to 200Mhz and you'll still be getting flat 60FPS at any time. But even without this the battery life was very good.
After exiting sleep mode, about 90% of the time, the game will have completely broken audio. The music will be playing at ultra speed, crackle, the voices of characters will sound like chipmunks. The only fix is restarting the game, thus negating benefit of sleep mode.
My shortcuts to keyboard menus stopped working for no reason after a restart of the game, and they never came back. I tried updating my configuration again, but no matter what I do the game doesn't register the shortcuts properly. I know the keyboard IS detected, because I can get into menu for setting up shortcuts, and press a button that is assigned to "T" key, and the game registers it as new keyboard shortcut, but the shortcut doesn't work.
Apparently the opening cut scene doesn't play but I never noticed, other cutsenes won't play as well, but everything else works perfectly.
In-game video materials do not work, more specifically, the three opening videos for Hachiroku (Rail Romanseque), Hibiki (Pictorial), and Paulette (Silent Rail) will not play. The screen will just flash black and continue. Tested triggering by both re-entering the corresponding route and use the "Special" mode. Downgrading from 4.2-3 does not help so this is probably not a regression issue. No mojibake was observed and text rendering works normally. Host OS LANG variable is set to zh_CN.UTF-8.

Route opening movies don't play (tested on Paulette and Hibiki, presumably for all other routes as well). Occasionally slight audio glitches when starting, but they usually fix themselves after a few seconds or a restart. The game itself works flawlessly. The official adult patch as well as additional patches supplied by the community work fine as well. Not all routes were tested yet, so there could be bugs on other routes. I remember the game failing to start in Proton Beta 3.16 in the past, however that seems to no longer be the case.
