When I started the game I just got a black screen. I tried a few launch options form my other games and this one I borrowed from house flipper:

PROTON_USE_WINED3D11=1 --skip-logo

When I added that option it started. I played all the way through the tutorial. I then started the campaign. It acts like there are cutscenes that are not playing at the start of the campaign but can be successfully skipped by pressing escape to continue playing.
