Work out the box no issues as of proton 9.0-3.
Blackscreen on some opening movies, can button press past them
A typical gamer would not like to be forced to rename directories to be able to play the game.
Proton-6.21-GE-2 GloriousEggroll
Renamed the 3 directories in game folder that contains video files, since game crashes when it tries to load video files with a DXFAIL error.
FPS drop in VN scenes after 1 hour plus, restart fixes this.
Proton-5.4-GE-3 GloriousEggroll
Prevents game crashing at cutscenes, though they still don't play.
Not crashing, but freezing with CPU thread pegged at 100%. I've seen a similar issue with Neptunia games on Windows, so this might be at least partly game issue rather than a Proton issue.
Mainline Steam Proton doesn't work at all. Later GloriousEggroll versions (6.0, 6.1) will run, but have significantly more stability issues.
Proton-5.5-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
Game won't even start. Using proton-tkg, game starts, until it needs to load the opening and then crashes with the same error.
The following error dialog box will appear, Omega Quintet has stopped working. Crash dump has been generated when:
