PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_D3D10=1 %command% -dev -mod blitzkrieg -nomovies -novsync
As others noted, start the original Company of Heroes with the provided launch options.
IMPORTANT: Use PROTON_NO_D3D10=1, do NOT use PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 When I used PROTON_NO_D3D11=1, the game would freeze when opening the Steam overlay via Shift+Tab. I fixed it by using PROTON_NO_D3D10=1. Now everything runs perfectly.
Modifier le raccourci pour pouvoir lancer le jeux :
PROTON_USE_D9VK=0 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 commande -nomovies -notriplebuffer -refresh 144 -mod blitzkrieg
If you have to correct launch options and you play on medium/low there should be no issues.
Game crashes on large maps when launched with only the -mod blitzkrieg command. You need to use the following to make large maps work in multiplayer: PROTON_USE_D9VK=0 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -nomovies -notriplebuffer -refresh 144 -mod blitzkrieg Some Maps will still crash if you have maximum graphics details selected. I had success with lowering the graphics to medium.
works fine, but (before launch mod) you must find primary game in library - properties - set launch option - add "-dev -mod blitzkrieg -nomovies"
I had serious performance issues nobody else seemed to experience but they are completely fixed with the custom proton version. The game pretty much now runs like in the old times (pre Steam) on Windows 7. I still adhere to the old knowledge of "no settings on ultra" and "restart the game after each match". My launch arguments on the basegame are:
PROTON_USE_D9VK=0 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_ESYNC=1 PROTON_NO_FSYNC=1 %command% -nomovies -dev -mod blitzkrieg -novsync -notriplebuffer -refresh 60
Some arguments may or may not help but it works perfectly for me.
Had many issues getting the blitzkrieg mod to run, after that the game would crash the second i would finish loading. Got all of it to work and run perfectly with the launch options of PROTON_FORCE_LARGE_ADDRESS_AWARE=1 PROTON_NO_D3D11=1 %command% -dev -mod blitzkrieg -nomovies Keep in mind these launch options are on the base game itself! Not the mod! One minor issue i did encounter was if i played a match and went into a second one without restarting the game i would get tons of texture corruption. After a restart it was pefectly fine. Also dont minimize, just dont.
Works awesomely, but you need to add the following launch command to the Game to start in blitzkrieg mod : -dev -mod blitzkrieg -nomovies (Don't add them to the blitzkrieg mod, but to the game)
Works flawlessly, appart from crashes that also happen on Windows, this is reduced by moving the game to an SSD
Luncher for Blitzkrieg mod doesn't work. Use command line options instead for launching Blitzkrieg.
