Does not appear to have linux client compatibility, and is no longer supported by the developers. Loads to a black screen with what appear to be borked scrollbars and then crashes with little in the way of logs. I have seen some hints that people have been able to get it working long in the past on the official discord, but their support channels for the mod are now closed and read-only, with a warning that the mod is no longer supported.
Just Cause 3 works fine.
Tried running in the wineprefix of Just Cause 3 as well (didnt work) and tried proton experimental forced, some older proton versions, a version of umu proton i had on my system, and the proton version steam recommended. None worked.
0/10 preferred nvidia driver flickering on xwayland apps to trying to troubleshoot this
Launches to a black window and quickly crashes. JC3 works for me, but this mod does not.
Maybe another installation method will work.

Shows small black window and immediatley closes.
Also PC shown on this post wasn't the one I was trying to use to launch the game. I just didn't feel like going to my other pc and pasting system info in such a stupid strict way just to post a damn complaint somebody probably won't see.
Black windows opens and closes with now error after a few moments
Issue is present on GE-Proton7-10, Proton Experimental, Proton 7.0-1 and Proton 6.3-8 and probably most if not all others aswell
It just loads a black screen than it crashes.
Ran using Proton 5.9 GE and 5.0. The GE one instantly crashed while the other one loaded the black screen.
Tested with Proton GE 5.0 and Proton 5.0, this just black screen and gives an error message
although JC3 works now (except for the saving feature that will be fixed soon!)
Unknownubuntu 19.04 kernel 5.3.5-050305, Radeon VII, multi player won't load at all.

Just Cause 3 does not run so neither will this
I see no reason why this would not run if Just Cause 3 ever gets fixed, but since Just Cause 3 itself is Borked this mod is unplayable.
