Minor issues, but they seem identical to issues seen on Windows, it's early access.
Game sat at a black screen for a little longer than it should, but eventually got to the developer logo and menus just fine. Menus don't have controller support, so you'll need to use mouse controls until you get into a match.

I tried launching with default proton and it fails to launch. I used the GE kernel and it launched without any issues. I did not tinker with default proton. So there is a chance it works fine.
