Native install has some bad grtaphical glitches. Proton won't launch a mission, but GE works fine.

Start-of-mission cutscene audio was missing, so I had to enable subtitles.
When running without VSync or below the VSync rate, the camera would stutter.
Enabling VSync (or half-VSync) in the game settings and lowering graphics options (shadow resolution and MSAA mostly) to achieve >=72fps 100% of the time fixed the issue.
The loss of cutscene audio isn't terribly important, but the issues with VSync are annoying until you set up settings properly. I suspect they could also be fixed by tinkering with launch options or using gamescope
, but I haven't investigated since it's working for me as-is right now.
Since native version runs on OpenGL and the settings I got on autodect seemed fine, I got vertexes all over the place in game, not playable.
During cutscenes before mission audio is not working.
Even with GE which includes media foundation fixes afaik, the menu 'video on screens' has green artefacts. In game all is fine though, including cutscenes.
After restarting one mission multiple times I got a crash.
Too bad native version has graphical glitches, game works via latest Valve's Proton, but mediafoundation is needed for the videos. With GE it's better but sound is missing in cutscenes before the mission. Frequent restarts (and replaying cutscenes) caused crash for me. Haven't tried multiplayer but it's playable like this.

Doesn't work under Proton
Native version works, but has lots of visual artifacts, which make it difficult to play.
Can't get beyond a borked, unusable version of the menu with Proton though, so even worse off than trying native.
