All water textures (minus effects) are invisible, some hair textures are invisible
As long as you can tolerate the missing textures, it's fine, but good luck tolerating the port town and ocean stuff

Missing textures on Shiva's hair and other objects.
Pulls me out of the experience. Apparently an issue with AMD cards even on Windows.

Playable as long as you are ok with the missing visual elements that do effect gameplay on certian puzzles.
Set for fullscreen in the configuration launcher.
Graphic configuration done in seperate launcher that isn't smooth to use on Steamdeck
Some animated semi-transparent textures/objects are invisible. Most notably Shiva's Hair, Ice covering chests, Water (boats on the docks are hovering). I have the same issue in older AMD video card on windows, likely a bug in how it works with those older drivers.

Use the recommended proton 7. If you use 8 or experimental, you'll get heavy stuttering. Besides that, follow the previous protondb report.
When launching the game for the first time, select the japanese option (which is the configuration tool). Change windowed to fullscreen, and leave the other settings as is. Lastly, make sure you set the game's profile to 30 fps, to avoid stutters.
Game is perfectly playable, but constantly stutters.
Game runs at 31 fps, causing some extremely annoying stuttering.
Couldn't fins a fix for the stuttering on Linux.
Enable fullscreen to cut a third of the battery consumption
Use the second launch option (the Japanese one) to open the graphic configuration and enable fullscreen rather than windowed. This cuts about a third of the power consumption on the game and smooths out the frame times. Then press the ... button, enable a per-game profile in the power settings, and change the frame limiter to 30 fps. Between fullscreen and the 30 fps limit the game will run smooth. Without doing -both-, the frame limiter built into the game runs at about 31 fps and makes it very uncomfortably stuttery.
Fresh install no changes ran great.
Fresh install with no modifications ran great. Played it in Windowed and Fullscreen.
Runs perfectly, no tweaks needed anymore! (At least on AMD)
Works with NVIDIA now.
Basically I just see this as a game running well on proton I haven't noticed anything weird and haven't done any tinkering to fix anything.

Proton-6.14-GE-2 GloriousEggroll

6.12-GE-1 GloriousEggroll
I needed to add the following line to my dxvk.conf for the game to smooth out sporadic stuttering by vsyncing to 60Hz:
dxgi.syncInterval = 2
Since the game has a base framerate of 30 fps, divide your monitor refresh rate by 30 to get the correct value there. This can be added to the file dxvk.conf
in the same directory as WOFF.exe if you don't already have a global dxvk.conf set up, or if you do, you can add it in the following format to restrict it to this game:
[WOFF.exe]
dxgi.syncInterval = 2
Since it currently doesn't appear possible to install dotnet40 in this proton version's prefixes, enabling fullscreen requires manual creation of <librarydir>/steamapps/compatdata/552700/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/WOFF/<steamuid>/woff_config.ini
containing (approximately) the following:
WindowType:full screen
WindowResolution:1920:1080
ShadowResolution:2048
PostProcess:on

Requires manually updating the configuration for resolution changes and requires Custom Proton.

It can be modified as such:
WindowType:full screen
WindowResolution:1920:1080
ShadowResolution:4096

Editing graphical settings in out-of-game menu requires "protontricks 552700 dotnet40"
I couldn't get the game's graphical issues fixed on either my Nvidia computers. I assume it can't be done for the time being.

Though I was able to customize my graphical settings and start the game, the graphical issues make it unplayable.
5.11-GE-3-MF GloriousEggroll
In order to get into customization tool used: protontricks 552700 dotnet40
Cutscenes and gameplay is cut into horizontal slices
Seems to be working great now. Audio might stutter when changing scenes but nothing major.
used custom proton 5.11-GE-3-MF
- It could work if graphics were not being teared in horizontal lines. I think the game could be playable if this could be solved
- The game runs. However, when you try to play it's just impossible. The graphics are tearing in horizontal lines. So you can't see almost anything.
- You have to install dotnet40 in order to change the configuration as Kustom said. When you do it you can change some settings like the fullscreen option.
I've tried with all current proton versions you can choice. I was only able to made the game work with GloriousEggRoll Proton.
The only big problem here is that any time you try to play, there comes the horizontal lines.

Runs with Proton-5.8-GE-1-MF, wasn't able to launch configTool and changing WindowType in woff_config.ini didn't launch game into fullscreen
Proton-5.8-GE-1-MF GloriousEggroll

Borked
No luck with default proton or 5.1-GE-2

You have to use Proton 5.1-GE-2 and edit the woff_config.ini file and paste this :
WindowType:window WindowResolution:1280:720 ShadowResolution:0 PostProcess:off

Can't start the config menu. When trying to run the game I get a DirectX error with text being squares and symbols.
I've tried running it with Proton 4.11-11 and 4.21-GE-2.

The game will crash with default settings (windowed). In order to change settings, dotnet40 is required (protontricks 552700 dotnet40) to launch settings. Switch game to fullscreen mode. The game should be running. However, there is an issue with graphics rendering in game. The screen is splitted in multiple horizontal bands with some offset.
