In native linux the game oftenly would stretch textures, lines in the UI would go crazy for half a second and come back, for like 20 minutes i thought it was an actual part of the game, it's not, run this in forced proton experimental and it'll run flawlessly.

I would recommend making your own custom layout or using a community-made one, the default controller layout is terrible.
The native Linux version doesn't support resolutions higher than 720p and has issues with the key and controller mapping. Switch to the Windows version on Proton.

All great, but change to "original controls" the game's settings. That made it work perfectly.
I forced proton instead of native version, because of already existing PC savegame. Absolutely zero issues, great experience.

Must play game, as of anything suda51 related
Native version did not launch. Proton works as intended with no tweaks.
SOme of the controls may require a custome config, but that's no biggie IMO.
Not 100% necessary because the game supports gamepad but as a visual novel mouse controls are nice.
All of the gamepad buttons are mixed up. They still work but they are all in the wrong places.
This report was made using the default Proton build.
