Works perfectly out of the box with every proton version I tested. Can even install the directors cut patch using the wine prefix
Note: I tested the de-listed 2016 version of this game, as far as I know It basically functions the same. I was able to use Lutris as well to install the directors patch .exe files flawlessly using the games wine prefix. This should also be possible within steam itself using proton if you don't prefer using Lutris. Had no issues overall.
