Did the steps similar to described in this steam comunity guide https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3298178335
Steps I did: install Silverfall, then Silverfall Earth awakening Verify file integrity (cogwheel to the right > Properties > Installed Files in there click Verify integrity of game files) Install protontricks using the "Discover" app in desktop mode Run protontricks then select silverfall earth awakening. (it takes some time for the next window) Click Ok, select install Windows-DLL, search for d3dx9, click OK Not sure if needed but I also installed physx using the Konsole app using the command protontricks-launch ~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Silverfall/PhysiX/PhysX_7.11.13_SystemSoftware.exe Back in game mode, run silverfall awakening which should now run flawless
Customized button assignments and behavior
Text at default resolution could be a bit small for some. For better readability in handheld mode change resolution to 1152x720 and change scaling mode to fsr in the steam deck settings

Its important to install Silverfall first, then Silverfall: Earth Awakening. After the Download, it was mandatory to Check the files integrity, because Steam won`t install all files correctly the first time. If you installed Earth Awekening first, then Silverfall will overwrite a lot of files destroying mainly the HUD and Menue Elements.
After that, if you try to launch the Game, there will be an Error, somthing about "PhysX". You need to go into the Game files, where ypu wil find a folder with the title "PhysiX". If you have Protontricks installed, you can start the exe within that folder with Protontricks. Make sure to pick Silverfall:Earth Awakening 4470. Game will still crash on bootup trying to create D3D9 effects. Use protontricks to install d3dx9: Go to your terminal and paste this:
protontricks 4470 d3dx9
Now the game should run flawlessly.
I havent checked extensivly
I played with two frind over hamachi, worked flawlessly
GOG version. I tried with Proton and Wine 5.7-8; either works. GOG installs PhysX Legacy. Played tutorial and a little beyond.
