The save is in different location on proton and linux runtime version
The game doenst work in steam runtime. Only in proton 5.0.10. I use mango hud n shared play.
If u want to use mango hud, use proton 5.0.10.
Works out of the box

If you dont mind some textures
The game runs smoothly as some time ago, but now most of the scenario textures are missing, and all characters are as they suposed to be, both on native and proton, i'd tried 5.0-9, 4.11, and Eggroll Gorious Edition. I think it may be nvidia drivers, in the start of the year i was using nvidia 440 an now 455. Here are some screenshots
Game works native and on Proton out of the box. I installed manually D9VK and it worked well with this DX9 to Vulkan translation.
Works well with Proton.
