This game run pretty well on my setup, some maps need a really powerful pc/laptop to run but overall pretty great experience
you do not need any tinkering or launch args to make this game playable, its already playable without any tinkering
The best result I got is from the experimental. It just said it is not available, all other versions - crash.
A dissappointment
The game crashed multiple times, and my Switch Pro Controller wasn't working. It ran very smoothly otherwise.
The game crashed 4 times, I wasn't able to finish a single level.
Game window would not open
Requires a CPU with very good single-threaded performance.
Controls can't be remapped, making the game unpassable with unlucky keyboard-ghosting
Game is too heavily CPU-bound
You need a keyboard with anti-ghosting.
The game runs exactly as it does on Windows with zero noticeable differences.
In my case it's not enjoyable at all because of the high requirements compared to graphical output.
Using multiple keyboards at once (to circumvent my inability to press two directional keys and the spacebar at once) makes the game stutter for half a second or so. Having no way to rebound keys internally didn't help either.
There is very unexpected slowness in the most levels, and the framerate didn't change between resolutions at all. My feeling is that the problem is with the way the game handles the objects rather than actual rendering.
As it is right now, the gameplay part is very inefficient for how simple the graphics actually is and how much resources they need.
Game overall works pretty well. Some of the songs are laggy but they are laggy on windows as well.
I couldn't remap my controller in steam's controller config. Also rumble was not working.
