Play as a newly recruited "robot" who must gather resources to fix the ship and themselves.
Icons on compass HUD are difficult to read and text in inventory is difficult to read.
Worked on my SD right out of the box.
Ran just fine as if it was a native game
Finished game with only the input thing detailed below
Stops responding to input after playing 1+ hours. Save often
Runs smooth without any issues in standard configuration.
The game with proton 4.2-5 was tested. There is a flaw in the game menus where the cursor stops moving. To activate and deactivate (from the game menu and the movement of the character) the combination TAB + ALT was used as needed for the cursor. The frames in the lowest graphic quality range from 25 to 35 frames. The sound and mechanics of the game works well. No adjustments were made in proton.
FPS are a sometimes low (~40 - 80) but it's completely playable
If you have a game controller connected, you need to set Properties->GENERAL->Steam Input Per-Game Setting to "Forced Off" otherwise you are stuck on the main menu. Without disabling D3d11, the game was unplayable for me (~ 5 fps) even on lowest graphics settings; disabling it improved that to a comfortable ~ 45 fps (on "very high" graphics settings). I would have rated it gold, but the game got stuck on the last portal transition, and it was also getting increasingly more difficult to successfully load a save game in the last three sections (it either crashed or got stuck). I had to finish the game (the last 30 minutes) on Windows.
At first run I couldn't click on any main menu options with a controller or keyboard. Once I shut everything down (thinking that it just didn't work) and came back to it a few hours later, this issue was gone. The game mostly runs fine. I had to turn off SSAO to get it to run somewhat smoothly. Even after that, it suffers from intermittent "micro" stutters -- bouncing back and forth between smooth gameplay and slight stuttering.
