Previously add to modify a txt file, but now works immediately

Previous workaround posted here apparently (also shown on wineHQ) is not needed anymore. Runs flawlessly out of the box. Multiplayer was not tested.

I tweaked options.txt to match my machine's resolution and it worked well.

Follow the instructions below, exactly. After that, the game, editor, download scenario functionality runs without issues ...
... BUT (my?) multiplayer (login) does not work. I tried multiple times, with being logged into the Slitherine Server via web, registered game, linked Steam Account, it just does not want to.

I followed the detailed guy of the lad above and it works perfectly!

Without workarounds the launcher lauches the game to a black screen. To get it to work properly firstly launch the game and wait for the black screen. Then go to ~//steamapps/campatdata/377520/pfx/drive_c/users/steamusuer/My Documents/My Games/PSCAMP/ In there create a file named OPTIONS.txt, in it insert the contents of this pastebin: http://pastebin.com/i67SB7jE. Change the resolution to your liking.
After that you have to configure wine using this in a terminal: WINEPREFIX="/steamapps/compatdata/377520/pfx"; winecfg
In the configuration go to the "Libraries tab", then add "dbghelp" (without quotes) to the overrides list, using the "edit" button, set it to wine (builtin). Click "OK", then launch the game.
Everything should run smoothly.
