Works well out of the box
Everything worked well for me. I had first loaded up a previous save that was on Steam Cloud and played on that save for a few minutes with no issues.
I then created a new save file and went through the character customization and tutorial level with no game breaking issues. The one and only thing that I noticed was during the in-game cutscene in the beginning as your rising up out of prison and breaking off the chains, my character was invisible for some reason but showed up immediately once it was time to start playing.

The game runs dramatically better using Valve's ACO shader compiler. If you're using an AMD video card you definitely want to look into how to get that installed and running on your distro if you're going to play this game.

Game works out-of-the-box. Performance is poorer than on Windows, had to turn graphics all the way down to low in order to get smooth fps.

Game works out of the box. Performance is considerably poorer than in Windows, but is smooth at lower graphics. Did not try any out-of-the-game tweaks (i.e. disable esync, disable d3d11, use wine d3d11) to get the same fps at better graphics quality yet.
Game crashes to desktop when adjusting the "shadow quality" graphics option, but it does the same on my setup on windows so not related to Linux/proton.

I had to turn shadows down to low to get a good framerate, but apparently that's a common problem with Windows as well, so I still gave it the platinum. Otherwise everything worked perfectly right out of the box.

The games built on Autodesk - Stingray. Some scene changes hang briefly but it works quite well.
