You need to unplug your gamepad/HOTAS/Joystick on first start, otherwise you cannot get passed the menu screen (you need your mouse for navigating through menus). After first start, you can change settings in the options menu (not a real Linux issue). Game runs at 60FPS. No glitches. All shader effects working.
