Videos where really the only thing wrong with previous versions of proton and i should know i kept trying to use other ge versions every few mounths to see if they work with videos but nothing worked for me until this new one that just works.
I'd occasionally crash on certain lines of dialogue. I don't remember where, but you can bypass them by using the skip button
Movies don't work. Unfortunately, there are quite a few short clips that play that are pretty interesting. But not a dealbreaker.
I was able to get the movie to work by running protontricks 345620 lavfilters, but the game would crash immediately after the movie finished. I ran protontricks 345620 quartz and the game wouldn't crash after, but there would be only sound...
Videos do not work. You must disable the play videos option through the in-game settings
Works as expected
Was perfectly playable even with H patch.
VIdeo doesn't work.
Starts up fine but once you choose your chapter the screen turns black. I believe a video is playing, but there's no volume. Makes the game freeze.
Unlike Fruit or Labyrinth, which will play videos fine with LAVFilters (dl .exe and run in wine prefix), and quartz.dll from winetricks, Videos in Eden do not work AFAIK :/
When Videos start playing, the window is black and starts behaving weirdly. I was tempted to force quit the program since i had thought it was just broken.
Luckily if you just wait for the video to finish (you can hear the audio from whatever video is playing fine) , the game will work again and play like Fruit or Labyrinth do.
