Audio:Crackling

The audio crackles all the time.

Input:Lag

Mouse support doesn't work, but that happens on windows too

This port is overall pretty bad so there is not much to do.

Input:Controller Mapping

I wasn't able to switch weapons from my xbox gamepad. Only way I've found to switch weapon is use the keyboard.

This game runs well without tinkering.

Tinker Steps:Set launch options, Changed configuration
-fullscreen -4x
  1. Browse to game files
  2. Rename Raptor.exe to Raptor.exe.orig
  3. Copy (or rename) rapwin.exe to Raptor.exe
  4. In Steam add following Launch Options: -fullscreen -4x
Battery Performance:

Game is capped at 24fps, so I set the refresh rate to 48 and fps cap to 24.

Secondary Launcher Problem:

Launcher is the reason this game does not work out of the box.

The music and audio effect crackle. The effect were barely noticeable, especially during missions, but I had to turn out the music because it was unbearable.

You need to skip the launcher by starting it like this: user@computer:~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Raptor Call of The Shadows - 2015 Edition$ WINEPREFIX="/home/user/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/336060/pfx" wine64 ./rapwin.exe

It works, but only windowed (640x480) and without audio.
