MOTO RACER - вылетает / crashes MOTO RACER 2 - необходимо поменять разрешение в настройках игры / need to change the resolution in the game settings MOTO RACER 3 - зависает на белом экране при старте / freezes on a white screen at startup MOTO RACER 15th ANNIVERSARY - необходимо перенастраивать некоторые кнопки в ланчере (использовал свою раскладку wasd + mous trackpad) / necessary to reconfigure some buttons in the launcher (I used my layout "wasd + mous trackpad")
After game picker, exception dialog. Folder not found Z:\...\MotoRacer. Same for each game. Proton 8/9 same.

Moto Racer 1 & 2 running without issues.
Moto Racer 2: GE Proton 7-43 worked. Restricted to 1 core in lutris config. Add dinput.dll from DirectInputTo8 and add as builtin,native to use analogue joystick controls. Copy dgVoodoo MS x86 libraries and set GeForce 9800 GT as graphic card under DirectX tab. Set DesktopBitDepth = 16 in dgVoodoo.conf.
Moto Racer 1: similar to Moto Racer 2, but chose ATI Radeon 8500 as graphic card and I think I had to add winmm.dll as builtin,native.
Still working on getting Moto Racer 3 to start correctly.

Moto Racer 1 had a script error
Seems Moto Racer 1 has a script issue, so maybe more a wine side issue, moreso than proton given I have played this collection on both standard proton and GE.
Also amusingly Moto Racer 1 and 2 wouldnt even work on my W10 so I would say its actually more playable on Linux than Windows xD
Borked when running on Proton, any version, even GE. Switch to Lutris and you can play all but Moto Racer 1.
Moto Racer 1-3 are simply not starting or crashing immediately. 15th Anniversary edition works.


Also tested the GOG versions that will give the same results. The Moto Racer 1 and 2 will not run at all, due to the 16-bit color requirements. Use Lutris and set Xephyr to 16bit color to run the game. Xephyr is a nested X server, albeit restricted to software rendering, will run old DX3-7 games that requires obsolete color settings (such as 8 or 16-bit color.) To play Moto Racer 3, install dgVoodoo2 that is to copy the 32-bit wrapper dlls to the game directory. At MR3 configuration select "skip intro", and "no music" on the appropriate tabs. This will emulate Dx8 over Dx11, where DXVK will catch to Vulkan. With this hacks, MR3 will run without issues. The last game runs without hacks.


First game doesn't run at all. 2 stops after a splash screen. 3 stops responding on the loading screen. 15th anniversary does work but is a mobile port.
