The game kept getting stuck on an infinite loading screen everytime when starting a match. Closing the game and re-opening would allow me load into the ongoing match, but would cause me to miss first 3-5 minutes of every match.
As soon as the loading screen issue is fixed, this game seems it will be 100% playable on linux.
Multiplayer crashed the moment I attempted to do the initial "Simulation" Mission after the prologue/tutorial.
Stuttering when loading cut-scenes and assets. No Shader pre-compiling.
Requires optimization by the developer, would be good if it pre-compiled shaders.
Apart from the issue with first time character creation, the game is playable at a decent performance on the Deck/Linux.
Most text in the game isn't scaled well for smaller screens. Same applies to a lot of UI elements like weapon previews. You can still navigate menus and do all the basic tasks without too much issue.
Controller inputs stopped being detected on swapping to a different window/using Steam Big Picture menus. Keyboard inputs are not recognised for first time character creation name input. The only way around this is to first create the character on a Windows machine and then return to Linux.
Game starts but can't enter name. Tried with external keyboard as well, escape key works but alphabets don't work.
Menu borked. Try creating an account in another device and then switching back to Linux maybe.
Seems to work out of the box, haven't tried multiplayer yet.
Playtest doesn't seem fully optimized yet, pauses during cutscense, long loading time. Havn't tried max settings yet.
