Works flawlessly with Proton experimental
As said in the other comments, native has no audio. Switching to Proton experimental allowed to play the game without problem.

Had to install pipewire-alsa-32bit for audio to work.
Runs flawlessly.
Had to switch to use Proton from Native as I hadn't had any audio output when running Native.

Solid improvement over Shadowrun Returns
While Game can be played at Resolutions up to 4k, anything above 1440p is very small.

Rebinded almost all the controls to map all hotkeys to layout
Dialogues may be difficult to read
- Entering in-game debug menu may cause inability to enter pause menu through hotkeys (mouse only supported)
- Saving the game causes memory leaks, so the more you saving, the more time it is required for the game to load. This is the issue of the game itself, not compatibility Restarting the game fixes this issues

Limited to 30FPS
The text is readable but definitely requires a bit more focus.
Audio did not work until I switched to experimental. After the switch, the game ran flawlessly.

protontricks ... winecfg
then emulate virtual desktop (1024x768).
Played GOG version with Proton 7.0-1 and emulating virtual desktop.
Proton version works even better than native's. I noticed in native's you cannot quit the game by clicking Confirm, but in proton's yes.
if you want to get it translated to an unofficial language you will have to run it with Proton and execute regedit
with wine in a terminal like this:
env WINEPREFIX=$HOME/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/300550/pfx wine regedit
In my case it was spanish so added this string key:
"Settings.Language_h2828946908"="ES"

Borked on 64-bit?
Native ends at a black window and Proton starts but nothing show up.

Game works native on Linux. On Proton it works out of the box too. If you use PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 %command% as a launch option the game works great with D9VK (DX9 to Vulkan translation). Tested on Plasma Wayland.
