Bind button to the VN supports
On Game Mode, using Fullscreen would sometimes broke Steam UI and break game unable to respond to control. Need to full restart Deck to fix it.
Played to completion on OLED in Game Mode, use the latest version of the game with Valve Proton works fine.
The previous report I've made said that pressing Tab would lock the game, but it turns out using Fullscreen breaks it so use Windowed mode if you experience this.

In Game Mode, pressing Tab would sometimes lock Steam UI forcing a full restart
Playing in Game Mode at v1.0.7, most of the problem looks to be fixed since v1.0.6
Windowed mode doesn't work well, use Fullscreen instead
Windowed mode doesn't work - select Fullscreen mode instead in the in-game settings menu. Since a blank screen is shown when you launch the game, you can get to the in-game settings menu either by following the instructions in the previous protondb report, or by connecting an external monitor (probably need 1080p resolution or higher because of the bug) and setting the launch resolution to "native" in steam deck settings.
Additionally you need Proton GE for the in-game videos to work.
Steps:
- Switch to Desktop Mode.
- Open "Everlasting Flowers" app by pressing R2 two times.
- Notice that the game looks like not being opened though we can hear the background music.
- On the bottom task bar, hover to active "everlasting flowers" task.
- Press L2, then choose "More".
- On More session, check "Fullscreen" box.
- Looks like nothing changed, but this time press R2 when hover to active "everlasting flowers" task.
- The game will be opened on System page. Make sure to set these items: Display Mode: Fullscreen Window Size: 1280 x 720
- Close the game first (as we still on Dekstop Mode).
- Return to Gaming Mode.
- Now, try to open the game, it should be fixed for display issue.
Can not be opened fully first for the display, need to set some settings from Desktop Mode.
Steam deck gaming mode just shows an infinite spinner while background audio plays. Desktop mode shows a 1 pixel wide window. Same results on proton GE and experimental.
