As a Mana-series fan-girl i totally liked this title. I played it from start to end purely on the steam deck and enjoyed the journey!
I used the Steam Decks FSR, not the one offered inside the game. Why? Using the FSR inside the game makes it look more crappy. So i went with the steam decks own setting. Some areas still lagged a bit but it was better :)
Text can sometimes be a bit small and hard to read. Not a major issue for me though.

It works but the late game will present you with significant stuttering due to shader buffer
The game seems fine at first but the stutters after battles and after certain attacks and effects get VERY severe in the late game. This seems to be a shader buffer problem. It went down to single digits in some of the last fights.

Could not set resolution and borderless window didn't scale to my screen size. It seem to be stuck to a 16x9 ratio. Not necessarily a Linux problem. Had to use Hex Editor and change resolution values and FOV to my monitor to get 5120x1440 support.
Instructions can be found here. https://steamcommunity.com/app/2490990/discussions/0/4512128660932571433/

Works out of the box
Lag when finishing battles
Weird lags afer battles make me think theres needs to be added a fix
gamemoderun %command%
Runs out of the box without any problems. Cutscenes have a cap of 30fps, but that's by design.

Can reduce to 40hz for some battery saving
Text was a bit small making it harder to read but not unreadable
This game seems to have some issues with resolution settings when trying to adjust it leaving it at its default is recommended
Framerate is a bit unstable even on 40fps, for a more solid framerate i kept it @ 30fps with FSR turned off on high
runs perfect at locked ingame 30fps with highest settings and FSR off, runs okish @ 40hz unlocked FPS with Highest settings and FSR on.

Pre-rendered and in-game cutscenes are locked to 30fps, but that does not seem to be a Proton related problem.

Occasional frame drop.
Menu and prerendered cutscenes seem locked at 30. During gameplay, I set FPS lock to 40 and it's mostly pretty consisent without having to mess with settings.
Some text and UI can be a little small but not terribly bad.
