Once in game menus were very unresponsive. Could just be the nature of the game, however.
FPS stays between 25-34 range, regardless of graphhical settings. Medium settings with reduced draw distance is a good compromise. Seem like a bit of optimisation could make it sing.
Froze on exiting 1/3 times so far.
Tried a couple of other versions of Proton including GE20, none of them seemed to have the edge over the others. The draw distances seem crazy high (15km for basic geomery and 4km for trees), so I assumed dragging them way down would improve performance, but on reducing each by 1/4 I only saw boosts of 1-2fps.
This is a great game and runs very nicely on my deck. Been many hours of fun ripping around with my buddies already!
The game works great using the deck itself but i have throttle input problems when i connect it to a dock to use a controller and monitor.
starts loading, breaks.
I really wish this would work.
