6 hours overallLooks to be technically possible to 100% on Steam Deck, but requires creativity. Doesn't run very well though.
Tinker Steps:Other
For 100% requires at least one non-Steam game added to Steam and some control tweaking
Control Layout:Switch To Community Layout: Steam Deck Gamepad + Touchscreen
Control Layout Customization:Other
I'm the one that made that layout
Performance:Significant Performance Problems
FPS is terrible. Not sure if this is the same as on Windows, but especially during Achievement Unlocked 3, it was noticably laggy and had about 15fps.
The puzzle games are very much not designed for the Steam Deck, and it feels like you have to be creative to solve some of the puzzles:
- You frequently have to switch between gamepad, touchscreen and onscreen keyboard.
- You need to tweak the gamepad inputs themselves to add certain inputs.
- One puzzle requires you to move your mouse outside the window. For the steam deck, I found that putting the game in windowed mode and right clicking at the bottom of the screen had the right click menu increase the resolution enough to satisfy that requirement.
- One puzzle requires you to paste the contents of your clipboard into "notepad". I used Discord for this, but if you already know the solution you don't need to.
- One puzzle requires you to alt-tab to another program and back again. I wasn't able to find a way around this besides switching to Discord in steam (which worked!).
Of course, these are just because I was running it on a Steam Deck, on Desktop Linux the game probably plays as intended. Although I'm not sure if the performance issues also apply there.
