Seems to work fine out of the box. I only played for 30 minutes, though, so I can't be sure.

Some artifacting when moving around. It seems to be random but not game breaking or too hard to look at. Pretty ignorable.
I've tried forcing compatibility to get rid of the artifacting but no proton version I tried improved it. Experimental didn't help. Then 9.0-1, 8.0-5 seemed to make it worse. I tried 7.0-6 but the game crashed when I got past the main menu. I didn't go any further down the version list. I went back to non-forced mode instead.

Might enjoy it, but no more so that the demo.
The game launches and plays (apparently) normally. However, the full version has all the limitations of the demo, meaning you only explore a small area near spawn (aka, the insectarium). I have spoke to the developers, and it seems this is likely the result of DRM failing to detect the presence of Steam. They kindly offered a refund but said they would not be looking into this at this time, as they have other priorities (ports and localization). As is, however, while running perfectly in the most basic sense, you cannot currently (as of January 2024) access most of the content or gain any benefit over playing the demo. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future.
Hopefully this will be fixed in the future, either by the developers or by new proton versions, but currently on Linux there is effectively no difference between the full game and demo.
