Other than the crashing bugs I get 5 more fps than the Windows 10 in same device. It's playable.
Seppuku Station. Difficulty Who Wants Some Wang. After the gold key door there is a door at right side. Classic build engine animated doors. When you try to open that while door's animation at the half screen stops, music and in game sound continues. When you open that door there is no way to continue. It crashes like that.

Changed right trackpad to as mouse
The default linux native build softlocks a few minutes into the game. I switched to Ge-Proton8-15 and everything is working great so far. I'm guessing other proton builds would probably work as well. I just tried the newest GE build at the time.
Flawless under Proton
No issues
Works perfectly under Proton
Native runs well until it crashes :(

The lag spikes ruin the experience when using Proton and the native build is unplayable due to crashing.
The gamepad support is very poor and does not allow for true analog aiming or movement; instead it just emulates keyboard input. For improved aiming, change the right stick to Joystick Mouse input and reduce the sensitivity as needed.
As with Duke Nukem 3D Megaton Edition, when played using Proton this game has persistent lag spikes every 3 seconds that cannot be eliminated, regardless of settings. This problem also occurs when playing on Windows, so it's not a problem caused by Proton.
The native build does not have this problem, but that version is unplayable due to crashing.
The lag spikes can be made slightly less severe by enabling in-game vsync, at the cost of additional input lag overall.
Some explosions make the game stutter.
Couldn't managed to complete the first level using the Native version. It crashes when I open a door.
Works flawlessly
Could not get native linux version to work, proton worked fine
