Completed a playthrough with good performance, only a slight bug with controls and video.

If you adjust system volume with the keyboard, mouse click input stops responding. And you have to alt+tab in and out of the game to get all input working again. I think this is because on KDE the on-screen volume slider pop-up maybe steals the focus. However I have never had this problem with any other game. So not sure if this is KDE, Proton or pehaps even a game specific bug.
This game performs extremely well compared to the developers previous game, on my setup around 140fps maxed settings at 1440p resolution. The karaoke videos played without issues too, except for a minor glitch where there is supposed to be looping video static (but it doesn't loop just plays once).
