crashes evry time on tyrak plaza

could't control my character in one of the later rides, restart fixed it
there was a point in the game where it always crashed, changing to proton 7.0-6 fixed it

game runs well but keeps crashing preventing any progress

Unfortunately, launching it out of the box with the latest version of proton, the game seems to launch well but ends up crashing very often in the same place. All you have to do is change the proton version to 7.0.6 and you're all set!
Not fully using GPU capabilities; slightly choppy frame rate in some scenes
Every Proton 8 version (including GE) I have tried would always crash on Tyrak's Square. Vanilla Proton 7 works pretty well.

gamemoderun %command%
Using literally any other version of Proton or GloriusEggroll that I tried would cause Tyrak Square to crash, randomly, but everytime. This version of Proton used has worked to get passed this.
If you use the proton version I listed the game runs perfectly, like I said any other version causes constant crashes when visting Tyrak Square making the game unbeatable.

Screen tearing
Runs fine until you visit Tyrak city. The game randomly crashes for seemingly no reason.
Runs well, until you get this bug.
The crashes obviously prevent the story from progressing, so that's really a block. I'll waiting to see if that gets fixed soon
Same FPS degradation the longer the game runs as the original Road 96
Game always crashes on Tyrak Square. Cannot continue past that level
Stuttering and slowdown during cinematics that continues into gameplay. Sometimes it goes away sometimes you have to restart the game
Crashes consistently when approaching a poster in Tyrak Square
At this stage it's better to wait until this game is optimised. I was able to get past the lag by changing proton versions, setting graphics to medium and textures to low, but I can't get past random crashes during gameplay.

Worked OOTB. I finished the game without any major trouble, with maximum graphics and a very good framerate.
The image can appear "blurry" some times, as if not using the proper resolution. It doesn't last for long and disappears by itself within a minute.
Don't alt-tab the game or you'll never get it back.
The game runs great for about an hour of progression until the crashes but nothing I tried got past them
Runs fine until just before the 4th music segement. Then it consitently crashes when talking to the woman outside the news stand. This is a hard block on progressing the game

Enable DXVK, Enable VKD3D, Enable Esync, Enable Fsync

In around the second part of the game (solved by changing from Proton GE to Wine Staging 8.5).
Optimization
Some levels seem to be a few times more "heavy" (or less optimazed) than other, normal levels would have ~50 fps on ultra, and these "heavy" ones would have less than 10. "Solved" this issue by lowering the graphics options (which gave me +100 fps on every level, but you would see how fps cut in when entering these heavy levels).
Mangohud
Mangohud would sometimes only show up in the main menu.
Crashes
After second half of the game it would just straight up crash for no reason (logs say something about shading). Solved this by changing runner from GE-Proton7-41 to Wine Staging 8.5 (without E/Fsync).
Note
Didn't test it on Steam and with Proton Experimental. Launch options are for Lutris, for the Steam equivalents google is your friendo here.
