Works great! Even in endless mode with a lot of items i never fell below 40 fps. Normal mode is around 70-100 fps, no screen-tearing etc.
And if you turn off a few things, like explosions and things enemies say when they die it runs very well in endless mode too. Did an endless run up to 800k score and was on 60 fps+, although i did not have all items unlocked that run.

Still hits frame rate issues once you get every object in the game. Samething happens to windows. Just a feature of the game.
Worked great right away with the default Steam/Proton. Controls are good and performance is good, this is a perfect fit for the Steam Deck.
40fps/40hz cap, 11 Watts Power Limit and I tried with FSR on, was playing on the go so wanted more battery life
Sometimes hard to read but not a deal breaker, more of a minor annoyance
Multiplayer local play worked great with two Xbox controllers
Works right away on the Steam Deck, controls and performance are good and it worked without chaning to another Proton version. Played for 2 hours total, 30 minutes of that time was spent in local multiplayer, worked great with two Xbox controllers and hooked up to the TV (The rest of the time was solo on the Steamdeck controls). Two Thumbs up!
Don't know why. Tried different protons ge experimental. Nothing gets the game to load up fully.
