Lowered graphics settings
Custom orders window is pretty much unreadable. Some icons are very hard to see.
Controller sometimes randomly stops working or won't move to the right UI element, requiring the use of the trackpad and mouse buttons
Definitely playable on Steam Deck, but not a great experience. I would recommend playing on desktop instead if possible.

All Graphics Settings in Medium

lower settings. optional fps cap

Special orders window is totally unusable in handheld
Played with touchscreen controls, playable with no problem, text in some menus is hardly readable
alt tabing or getting a popup from another application would cause the portions of the game screen to be solid black. alt tabbing several times resolves issue.

no controller integration
It is as pleasent as it gets, the game runs well under Proton and nothing seems amiss.
There are little frame drops into and out of loading screens but they don't interfere or slow you down at all, dunno if they're normal on Windows too. Everything else is smooth as butter and hardware isn't working hard at maxed settings.

The game runs flawlessly through proton with no major issues. All bugs are cross-platform and not related to proton.
TDP reduced to 8W, refresh rate locked to 45hz.
Some card descriptions may be hard to read, especially in the Deck Builder.
No official controller support yet, but the current M+KB layout works pretty well.
Used left track pad for cursor control, right track pad press for left click
I would love controller support for this game, but the Deck does a great job with handling that through the track pads. Easy install, easy play. Played it docked and handheld.
3D scenes, including all combat, run at some single-digit FPS

Loading screen lag. Exiting loading screen, transition, and character entering the screen give a slight lag.
Game run very smoothly except when loading and introducing character into screen. Short noticeable lag but still enjoyable.

The video that played at startup (probably the dev's/publisher's logo) showed a test screen. Other than that, the Demo version of this game worked perfectly. The full game will probably work as well on release.
