Capped framerate to 30, lowered visual settings from Ultra to High (though this is probably not necessary)
Very noticeable drop (well below 30 FPS) regardless of settings throughout the second level of the game, thankfully the level is fairly short. This doesn't happen anywhere else in the entire game.
Finished the game with little to no issues. Should be noted that you only use the left stick and X to navigate the main menu, I didn't know this at first and thought something was wrong.

Note: I'm running and testing it with my itch.io copy from an old bundle, as I don't own it on steam. But I am still running it through Steam with Steams' proton.
Played the game using GE Proton. Other reports mentioned animated textures being missing or having placeholder textures; this is often due to missing video codec support in official Proton and is usually fixed by using GE Proton, which I configured from the get-go.
I didn't notice any missing textures or other issues when using GE Proton 7.25. I didn't test default Proton.

Nearly flawless.
Noticed about 3 instances where animated textures weren't rendered correctly (a placeholder texture is rendered instead). Unfortunately undercuts the impact of their scenes, but it's a very minor complaint - it affected maybe 5 minutes of a 7+ hour experience.

Video render textures aren't displayed - but there are only two instances I found, and it doesn't obscure any required information.
