crashes on character name input
Works fine now on latest Proton GE as long as you get past on character name input which will crash. just import a saved game that has done the character naming
PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
Must Run custom launch options otherwise graphics do not display correctly and is unplayable.
If you press the steam key during full screen the controls get confused and I have to force restart steam deck. Running in windowed mode at 720p fixes that issue.
A keyboard may be needed to input your character name
This game is a tough one to get working on steam deck. First off I started off with a save file from PC that had my character named already. If you only play on deck you may need a keyboard to input your character name. When I used the steam key plus x keyboard the game would crash. In addition to all of this after installing the game and before using launch options run the game to set the game into windowed mode with 720p graphics. After you enter launch options and use GE Proton you must play the game from desktop mode. The game crashes immediately if you try to run from game mode. I want to give a HUGE shoutout to Theaceae whose launch options on PC finally gave me the tip I needed to get this running. I would only recomment playing this game on steam deck if you can also play it on a windows PC. For the launch options I had to set it to this exactly PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 %command%

PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1
Graphics did not render well by default, but using PROTON_USE_WINED3D=1 fixed this issue and the game is now running fine
Potential crash when entering name, it's possible to work around this or pull save from steam cloud. Game not playable without making adjustments

The game crashes when selecting your name,except from that,it is quite playable and has run without issues.
For now the game crashes two seconds after it's been launched ; a windows opens with a black screen then instantly closes itself.
Crashes to desktop after showing a blank screen
I tried several Proton versions - 7.0, 6.3, experimental, and GE. All crash to desktop.
