Works, as long as you use keyboard + mouse, or make a profile that emulates keyboard + mouse controls
Could not get Steam's controller input to work whatsoever.
I couldn't get the controller inputs of the Steam Deck to work whatsoever. I tried different profiles but it just felt awkward to use. The game should support controller inputs, but it seems like they just don't recognise here.
If you play docked with a keyboard + mouse though, it works perfectly. So get your keyboard and mouse out for this one.
initially the screen resolution was wrong, changing it to 720p in the options fixed this.
the only control I was able to enable was setting the gyro to act as a mouse to look around, I could not get any of the community input schemes or default scheme to work.

40 refresh rate and frame rate limit
Game does not recognize native resolution. 1280x720 works fine, though.
For whatever reason, "any" button does not work to get you past the start screen. Use the Deck's menu button to proceed.
Works quite well for an "unsupported" game!
This worked well enough using Proton Experiment [bleeding-edge], but I couldn't get past a hung black screen using GE-Proton7-9.
When escaping from fullscreen the graphics would freeze upon entering the game again.
When finishing a level the mouse would go unresponsive. This issue does not affect much the gameplay as you can just press enter to move to the next view instead of using the mouse to click on the button.
If you updated the system recently remember to reboot before running the game.
Works fine out of the box.
The game crashes when trying to access the gallery folder.
this game plays perfectly !! if youre interested, go ahead, you need to worry about the punk game not running on a punk os !
full screen is only properly turned on when clicking a button on the title screen or clicking save settings in the options. in addition, if a maxmised window was behind it, the game would not render when focused on initially. minimising either umurangi or the other window fixes this
some levels were prone to experiencing regular slow down and poor frame pacing, even on the lowest graphical settings (tho less noticable), in addition, when using the spray can and taking a picture, the game froze momentarily additionally, the game struggles heavily in the inventory screen of all things
In the inventory screen, the game runs very poorly, and upon clicking on an item, the game panics and crashes. i think i had one or two other unrelated crashes happen but they were very insignificant i think
my next goal is to get motion controls working and maybe write some mods :3
It works almost perfectly out of the box, only single a minor problem
The only problem, which is minor, is not being able to open your photo gallery from the game's menu.
