Cut scenes are not played.

The secondary launcher can be navigated using the mous trackpad.
There are 3 cutscenes that don't work properly. 1 shortly after the chapter 5 boss fight, 1 near the end of chapter 9, and the end credits. The first had audio, but didn't show video. The other 2 just didn't start (thought they didn't crash the game. So after a wait, the game skips it and resumes to the next scene). Temporarily switching to Proton GE 8.0-4 allowed the video to play. The first 2 cutscenes had video and music, but no voice acting. This was not a problem for the first cutscene since it has no voice acting. The second has some, but also has text, so it's not a huge problem. However, the end credits video didn't have music. So it was just the video.
The default version of proton that Steam applied for this game was Experimental. So this might change. It seems to works almost perfectly outside of the mentionned 3 cutscenes. I would recommend temporarily switching to Proton GE before the fight with the chapter 5 boss, and before going to talk with Perriend after the chapter 9 plot dump, and then switching back. The end credits simply don't work properly at all, so you should consider watching it elsewere. I don't recommend staying on Proton GE. It has audio problems with other cutscenes, such as the opening movie, that Experimental has no problem with.
Movies missing audio
Launching with Proton stable or experimental, there's no issue with the intro movie, but other ingame movies are missing (skipped).
Launching with Proton GE, the movies are playable but missing audio, including the intro.
Other than the movie issue, everything runs great, note that there are no locale issues if you want to play it in Japanese.
Runs great, no issues.
Ran fine out of the box, no tweaks needed. Performance seems good.
After Nvidia driver update, seemed to be working fine for me. No crashes to desktop. Opening video doesn't play.
Set d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True in dxvk.conf
Very hard to progress through the game given the frequent crashes (sometimes crashes right when loading a save.)
Set d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True in dxvk.conf
To get the game to work past the white screen glitch the same fixes need to be applied as to other Gust ports launch the game with PROTON_USE_D9VK=1 and put a dxvk.conf file in the game directory with the content: d3d9.deferSurfaceCreation = True
