Runs great on Deck.
Some texts are small, but it doesn't affect the experience.
Single player works perfectly, didn't try online mode. Some menus like the Gallery need you to edit the control layout to press some keys.
Moving some proton libraries and changing the file desciptor limit
The game was trying to use 64 bit gstreamer libraries for some reason, causing it to crash immediately. If you experience the same issue:
- Right click on the game, select properties and under compatibility menu select a proton version you don't use with other games (I tried 6.3-8, 5.0-10, 3.7-8)
- After downloading the new proton go to the directory where this version of PROTON is installed (not the game or its prefix)
- replace the contents of (proton dir)/dist/lib64/gstreamer-1.0/ with the (proton dir)/dist/lib/gstreamer-1.0/
- start the game and hope for the best
Keep in mind that if you use a proton version that other games use they will most certainly not work anymore so do this with a specific version of proton. The game will work flawlessly afterwards, but might crash completely randomly.
To fix this first follow this guide here: https://github.com/lutris/docs/blob/master/HowToEsync.md
After a reboot, if the game still crashes randomly just open a terminal and enter: ulimit -n 524288
If the game is STILL crashing, try higher values both in file(s) you edited and the command.
There probably is a better and cleaner way but this was how I managed to get it to run and fix the random crashes.
Works beautifully straight out of the box.
Game doesn't launch on any of the proton versions I tried.
Game started up no issues and ran perfectly "out of the box".
60FPS limit it seems. Transitions/animations ran smooth. Alt-Tab no issues. No multiplayer to test yet (Early Access).
