Work's out the box. great experience.
alt+tab is a bit wonky but not as bad as on many titles. just do it again once or twice to fix.
Play it, it's very fun and easy to start.
When I won, it would play the victory music, then the post-victory music, but the victory music would then interrupt the post-victory music for a second, then the post-victory music would come back. May or may not be a bug with the game itself.
Need to use Proton 5.13-2 as 5.0 and 4.11 are problematic
OBS doesn't pick up the game content unless game is in Windowed mode. Proton versions 5.0.x and 4.11.x were problematic for me, but switching to 5.13-2 made everything work properly again! Also, the WINED3D parameter did not improve anything in my testing at all, I am using zero launch parameters.

I don't believe this is required to run the game, but I personally use PROTON_USE_WINED3D and therefore have not tested whether this runs using Vulkan/DXVK.
When I tested, there appeared to be some music/audio missing. According to some other players, this is replicated on Windows as well and therefore I'm reporting that Proton experienced no issues.
Didn't notice much difference between playing on Windows vs playing on Linux
Controller issues were also reported on Windows machines
