Since I couldn't properly close the game after the cutscene, the only way out is force-quitting, which didn't store my latest saves

The game won't start after you fully watch the first cutscene, just showing a black screen. If you skip the first cutscene with ESC key, then everything works perfectly fine and you can play with no problems, until the next cutscene, which is near the end of the game. There's no way to continue after it, even with a skip
The game is playable, but cannot be finished
