Proton 6.3.8 would not detect the cluth pedal on my Logitech G920. All the other inputs worked fine. Wit Proton7.0GE everything works as expected
runs nearly flawless out of the box. Performance is a bit laggy even with around 40fps. Didn't have a single crash in 14 hours of playtime
Sometimes audio is crackling
Moving the camera with the mouse was very choppy
DCS Version 2.5.6 requires a patched webrtc_plugin.dll. Version 2.5.5 works without this modified dll but crashes when loading the actual module because DCS can't load Arial.ttf. Replacing the font with Arimo from drive_c/windows/Fonts works. Afterwards DCS runs fine. Someone from Git made the effort writing everything together in a tutorial: https://github.com/TheZoq2/dcs_on_linux
Runs perfectly after following instructions from here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nEJ5JDgVL48
Works great ootb if you have Mesa 22 drivers installed. Otherwise performance for me was absymal.
python3 er-patcher --all -r 144 %command%
I used er-patcher for ultrawide and 144 Hz support: https://github.com/gurrgur/er-patcher. Only use this when playing offline
Works Out of the Box. No tinkering needed. Performance is great. Only Frametime staggers a bit sometimes but all in all a great experience
Runs with way less fps compared to my windows machine. Had to go from High settings to Normal on nearly all settings and still get less fps. But more worse are the constant freezes / massive drops in frametimes in between, which makes combat really difficult
Working great. Performance is similar to Windows. As the other reviews mention, already ATC is not working.
Works quite well out of the box. Performance is very good.
Some minor frametime stuttering during cutscenes or arriving on new areas
I could reduce the frametime stutters by using valves "aco" compiler with RADV_PERFTEST=aco
