Download dgVoodoo v2.79.3 from http://dege.freeweb.hu/dgVoodoo2/dgVoodoo2/
Move all dll files from MS/x86 to home/deck/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/common/Nancy Drew Danger by Design/
Move dgVoodoo.conf to the same folder, and change the following settings: dgVoodooWatermark=false ScalingMode=stretched_4_3 OutputAPI=d3d11warp
In Steam, set Launch Options to: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="D3D8.dll=n,b;D3D9.dll=n,b;D3DImm.dll=n,b;DDraw.dll=n,b" %command%

The game should be playable.

Windowing:Other

When in fullscreen navigating away from the game and back caused the game to shrink and needed to exited with steam menu. Switching to windowed mode fixed this.

There's one puzzle near the beginning of the game that's difficult without a mouse, but with some patience I was able to complete it.
