Immortal Life
Immortal Life Patch on 5.12.2022 broke the game launch for All proton versions I tried.

If you want to give it a go again after their next patch, be ready to get an immediate refund if it still fails to launch. Don't even bother unless they've released a major update after May 13 2022.

Immortal Life
The launch command fixes the only graphic glitch (a cut scene near start of game) and the 7.0rc3-GE-1 version is needed for saves to work.

Probably would work fine with steam default recommended proton, but used v9 based on notes I saw here. There are bugs in the game, but if anything the bugs popped up less often on proton than on native windows.
