Had to change the Proton version to get the game to launch. If you can get the launcher open, your game should start.
Some Proton versions seem to cause issues with cutscenes in game. You'll know if you're affected if you see a bunch of colored bars (the same colored bars you used to see on television stations once they signed off for the night).
