Some workarounds required for AMD GPU
Set launch options to:
RADV_PERFTEST=aco
Before launching the game, each time must delete the one file
~/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Detroit Become Human/ShaderCache/VkPipelineCache.bin
If one doesn't mind these workarounds, game works well for AMD GPUs.
-d3d11
Currently the games does not launch out of the box but just crashes. Forcing Proton Experimental and also -d3d11 in the launch options works with success.
Works great after Media Foundation patches
Works great after installing the Media Foundation patches. Link to a script is: https://gist.github.com/scottlinux/930238ed1ecbccd6f6b06bb2cea36ca6
Works and runs great. I had trouble with getting my controller to work is only con.
Could not get xbox one controller detected by the game
Linux native game, works with no Proton or compatibility layer
The game works under Linux by installing and clicking Play. I am not certain why Prison City is advertised as Windows-only on the Steam website.
Out of the box with current proton versions from steam, the app does not run. Only a black screen or other non-working menu and inputs.
Requires Proton-5.11-GE-1-MF from github in order to run. Works great with Proton-5.11-GE-1-MF ( see https://github.com/GloriousEggroll/proton-ge-custom )
